COVID-19 Update (June 1, 2022)

Participants, families, staff, and volunteers are NOT currently required to wear masks at Between Friends programs, special events, and other internal offerings.

However, masks are still strongly recommended for use at programs, and everyone should feel comfortable continuing to wear a mask. Continuing to respect and support people’s decision to wear a mask is strongly supported and encouraged.

Between Friends wholeheartedly embraces the value of vaccination in keeping you, your loved ones, and our broader community healthy. In accordance with this:

Staff & Volunteers: our vaccine policy for personnel remains in effect.

Participants and Families: vaccinations are not required to attend Between Friends programs. However, we do encourage those who are eligible to keep up with booster vaccinations as they become available.

We are also requiring participants, staff, and volunteers to remain home when sick with COVID-19 symptoms as a key method to keep our programs and community safe. This combined with regular hand washing and physical distancing can together help limit virus transmission.

We will be continuing to watch the public health situation closely and will keep you up to date on any further changes.
