Our volunteers and program staff demonstrate their ongoing commitment and enthusiasm for giving people with disabilities an opportunity to connect, grow, and belong, through social and recreational activities. Between Friends offers educational scholarships in recognition of these individuals who champion and promote the principals of our organization.

The Baker Tily Catalyst LLP Scholarship is offered in partnership with Catalyst Solutions, created to recognize the contributions and high standard commitment of our summer staff exemplifying the mission and values of Between Friends, dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
The intent of the scholarship is to aid the recipient’s overall education. It also promotes engagement and ongoing employment in the disability field by helping to develop skills and knowledge that make this vocation meaningful and lasting.
Established by a partner with Catalyst Solutions, who is also a parent of a Between Friends member. It was through their interaction with Between Friends’ program staff that the Between Friends member and their family experienced a true sense of connecting, growing and belonging within the community.

The Bright Futures Honorarium was established in 2019 by an anonymous donor whose child has benefitted from Between Friends for more than 20 years. This donor recognizes the incredible commitment that our personnel make to Between Friends and to our participants… commitment that deserves to be acknowledged.
Education is a core value of this donor, and led to the development of an honorarium that supports educational pursuits.
